3D Printing
Mechanical design, design-for-additive-manufacturing, and advanced 3D printing for custom parts, functional prototypes, and small technical batches.
Overview
Service Overview
Our 3D Printing service is structured first and foremost as a design and engineering service. The strongest part of the business model is not the print execution alone, but the ability to design, refine, and manufacture unique parts tailored to a specific technical need.
We support companies from concept to physical output through mechanical design, design-for-additive-manufacturing, functional prototyping, and small-batch production. This approach is particularly valuable when off-the-shelf solutions do not exist or when geometry, weight, integration constraints, or customization requirements make conventional production inefficient.
Compared with traditional manufacturing, additive workflows reduce setup constraints, speed up iteration, and make it possible to validate or deploy custom components faster, especially in early product development, tooling, and specialized technical applications.
Technical Specs
Capabilities and Materials
- Mechanical design and part development: design of custom components, technical adaptations, supports, fixtures, and geometry optimization for additive manufacturing.
- PLA: ideal for conceptual prototyping and aesthetic models with strong detail reproduction.
- PETG: suitable for functional components thanks to improved impact resistance and durability.
- ABS: technical plastic for applications requiring higher thermal and mechanical resistance.
- ASA: suitable for high-temperature and outdoor applications thanks to better UV resistance and weather durability.
- PA-CF / PA-GF: technical nylon-based composites reinforced with carbon fiber or glass fiber for more demanding mechanical parts.
- Equipment capability: available hardware for printing fiber-filled materials, including carbon-fiber (CF) and glass-fiber (GF) reinforced filaments.
Use Cases
- Custom mechanical parts: brackets, interfaces, housings, supports, jigs, and replacement components.
- Functional prototyping: fit checks, assembly validation, and iterative technical development.
- Design-led manufacturing: development of unique parts where engineering value is higher than print commoditization.
- Architecture and visualization: scale models, volumetric mockups, and presentation assets.
