What we use

Only the browser's temporary storage (sessionStorage), to remember the position of the animated sky in the background as you move from one page to another. It contains no personal data, is not used to recognise you and is cleared when you close the tab. It is a technical tool and does not require consent.

The YouTube video

The featured video, on the home page and on the Videos page, plays in the YouTube player, a service of Google Ireland Limited. The player loads only when you click the video: until then the page makes no contact with YouTube.

We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com): according to YouTube, what you watch is not used to personalise the videos and ads it shows you. Once the player starts, however, YouTube receives data such as your IP address and may store cookies or other information on your device, under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

What we do not use

Analytics, advertising or profiling tools. Apart from the YouTube player, nothing loads from other websites: even the fonts and the video thumbnails are on our own server.
