Edoardo Maestri
Aeronautical engineering and fluid dynamics
He studies how to reduce the drag on a surface moving through a fluid. He wrote his thesis on riblet surfaces, and tested free-falling discs with superhydrophobic surfaces at the PRISME laboratory in France. He is a co-author of a study on the Taylor-Couette instability, now under review.
He leads the team building a rocket for EuRoC: the first static fire test in 2025, the first test launch in December 2025.
EducationBachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and master's in Aeronautical Engineering (in progress), University of Genoa, with a semester at Polytech Orléans.
