Emanuele Giordano
Robotics and artificial intelligence
Founding member and board member of Firmamento, project lead for Varco
He works where robotics meets artificial intelligence: neural networks and reinforcement learning to let machines see and decide, and agents built on language models.
He wrote the fully autonomous guidance software for a drone designed for search and rescue and environmental monitoring. He studies how to detect and prevent model hallucinations. At Firmamento he leads the Varco project.
EducationMaster's in Robotics Engineering and bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering, University of Genoa.
