Robotics: control and perception
He works on how robots perceive their surroundings and how they move together. His thesis was on the predictive control of three drones carrying a suspended load together.
He designed the electronics and flight behaviours of the drone that placed sixth at the IMechE UAS Challenge 2025. At the I-RIM Challenge 2025 he worked with the Tiago robot, which recognises objects, picks them up and hands them to the person who asks for them.
